Saturday, November 21st End-of-the-year event!

While details are still being worked out, I just wanted to let everyone know that our next event will be towards the beginning of November. The original plan was to hold something in Tampa around the beginning of October, but there are too many people with too much going on during that month. So, in the next week two, look for an official date to be announced so you can mark it on your calendar. This event will be held in the Tampa area, but the location is still being discussed.

Help decide the fate of our July Meeting. After we've recovered from the Star Wars Weekends we're going to get back to basics with an Orlando Meeting in July. Anyone want to set up an October meeting? I'll be on vacation from tomorrow till the 6th of October and through much of that I'll not have internet access so I won't be able to arrange this one. I'll plan on attending, but the plans should start being made soon to give others a chance to make plans. When and where should we have our September Meeting? Some people would like for us to rotate back to a weekend meeting this time, others say we should devise a particular place and time to have meetings so people could make plans to attend well in advance. No matter what we do, if we're to have a September Meeting we have to decide about it soon so schedules can be reckoned.

Ichnetucknee Springs Tubing

I brought on the last canoe trip the idea of Inner tubing on Ichnetucknee Springs (pronounced Itch-ne-tuck-nee). I haven't done this is in many years but remember is was great relaxing day. Just floating slowly down the river enjoying it's sights and sounds and the sun.

At the July meeting we set up the date for our next gathering. It'll be at 1pm on Saturday the 18th of August in the Magnolia Room of the Main Library. Magnolia is on the 3rd Floor. You can ask at the information desk straight inside the doors.
