The SWGFA Collecting Contingent has three sections. STORE REPORTS, TRADE ALLIANCE, and this, THE HUTT. Do you see the Store Reports section? If not, and Chris or I know you, let one of us know so we can make it visible to you. The Store Reports section is only open to people we know so area scalpers will not be aided by our postings.

Diamond Select (1/4 scale)

What do you think of the Diamond Select offerings? They are huge, detailed, and I love the Jack Sparrow I own. I just saw the Darth Maul at a comic shop yesterday and it looked fantastic.

The human faces I'm less impressed by. Still, the price of less than $80 is attractive considering the scale is the same as the Sideshow $250-$300 pieces. Pictures of the

More often than not, if you're looking at the Rebelscum Photo Archive, vehicles will be shown on FlexiDisplay stands. I got good news from eFX. I ordered the Stormtrooper helmet the other day and just got an e-mail saying the shipping cost had actually gone down. They originally quoted $37.50 but lowered it to $21.32. Now if they'd only lower the cost of the helmet!

Has anyone seen what's on tap for eFX? Their McQuarrie Vader helmet looks amazing but I'm sure I won't be able to afford it. They also have a nice Episode II...

Celebration IV Collector Panel Medallions

Did anyone acquire any pewter medallions from C4? They were limited to 350 each and were passed out to attendees that went to Collector Panels. I was fortunate enough to bag three, and these are some of the coolest collectibles to come out of C4. There are a total of 12 and a full set was nearly impossible to put together.

Dale/JediScout got nine and recently bought his missing three. Congratulations, Dale! If anyone has any extras, these are right at the top of my to-trade-for list.

I have been reading Toyfare, by Wizard. For about 3+ yrs now. If you havent read it or know about it, it is a great way to see upcoming toys and artwork. It is nice sometimes to also see someting thats not on the net, and that you can use on the fly when looking for items. They also have good humor and references to stores on and off the net. The price guide is also the most complete. They do alot of guides to collections as a series.

Who around here collects autographs? I have a decent collection but somehow I don't consider myself an autograph collector really. If I was skipping C4 or I didn't already have Carrie Fisher autographs I'd probably buy this from StarWarsShop.

Star Wars Holiday Merchandise

Last year I was very disappointed by a very big gap between Adler's Santa Yoda pre-production art and the piece that I ended up getting. I just hope a similar happening doesn't occur with this. I could see an improvement on the hat, but otherwise this decoration is perfect. Coming soon. I'm in!

I'm not a huge LEGO collector, but I have liked their products all my life. I have all of my LEGOs from childhood, and was excited when Star Wars became their first license. I have most of the mini vehicles and maybe half a dozen other sets and have dreamt of huge things like the original Star Destroyer and the Death Star.

However, last night on CNN I heard part of a story about LEGO massively scaling back production and even leaving Denmark for the Czech Republic. I can't seem to find...
