Anyone attended any concerts recently? I almost never go to concerts anymore, but by tomorrow night, I will have gone to two in less than a month. I went and
saw Chris Tomlin here in Tampa and really enjoyed it. Great music and a great venue.

Tomorrow night, I'll be heading over to the Saint Pete Times Forum to see Yanni Voices. This is Yanni's new tour which kicked off this evening in Ft.
Lauderdale. It's the great classics that we all know and love, but with some added...

Anyone know about The Medic Droid? They're a synthpop band that broke on MySpace last year apparently but I'm just hearing about them. They're
playing at the Social on 4 December, and while I don't plan on seeing them I've heard 4 songs so far and do find them pretty catchy. I'm also
curious to find an interview excerpt where they explain how they chose their name, which is obviously the only reason that I looked into them.

OMG, such exciting news! My brother, Ron Irizarry, wrote a song for the new Luke Wilson movie, Henry Poole is Here. His song was selected as one of
the top FIVE out of 3,450 entries! Ron has been plugging along in the music world trenches with great local success for years, so this kind of national
exposure is a tremendous validation of his talents and efforts. Voting for the top song is now going on at <a target="_blank"...

To start a new music message I would like to say that I am a fan of all types of music. I saw that campbell is a fan of the electronic depeche mode, which is awesome. I to have alot of there recordings. The music that I love and still to this day buy is HEAVY METAL. I still go to record stores and also shop on amazon.com. I dont find it a need to download the cd's. I like having the artwork and the knowing that I am supporting some of the hard working bands that are out there.

My...

I had to word that carefully. I'm still using CDs in CD Players but I'm a dinosaur that's never actually held an Ipod or whatever's new this week.

Anyhoo, the two albums that have been on repeat most of the night have been the soundtrack to Ocean's Twelve and the record Celtic Woman.

Ocean's Twelve is a payoff to all the hip promise the movie makes (but fails to deliver in the end). Celtic Woman is a group of Irish singers performing a sort of Greatest Hits of Celtic music...

What do you listen to? What music do you like or recommend? What's new in your library?

The album I'm keeping in heavy rotation is Depeche Mode's new PLAYING THE ANGEL. I'm never let down by their records, but this one has really got me hooked. At points it sounds like it was lifted right out of 1988. I appreciate the dark side of DM and this one rivals Black Celebration and Violator for its minor chords and undertones. -Campbell

...seven lies multiplied by seven,...
