Just lost my job.

Well it finally happened. After another round of layoffs today at the Tampa Tribune, this time 78 people including myself were let go.
Things should be ok for a while. With unemployment and the severance from the Trib. Needless to say I will not be purchasing too much anytime soon. Kind of sucks too because I was getting close to having enough for a full size Boba Fett helmet. Heck know I can't even get the scaled version. Oh well right.

On the up side I'll get to spend...

things have not been good for me of late and have not been for some time now. i wish i could explain it but to be honest i don't know how to. that being said i won't be around for a while. i hope to be back again but i am not sure what is going to happen for me. i just wanted you guys to know.

Turns out today there were more layoffs at the Tampa Tribune. Right now the managers on my floor are all in a meeting, not sure as to why. Not sure what this means for me or anyone in our department at this point. Great way to start the week is it not.

How much of (we'll say any movie) Can you quote? For example-

Fantasy Football

I would like to put together a fantasy football league with people from the Orlando System. It will be fun league for bragging rights. I would like to have at least 6 teams with a maximum of 12 teams, having an even number of teams(which makes things easy all around). I use Fox Sports fantasy league which is free. If anyone is interested let me know as soon as possible so we can get started.

Okay, actually, we named her Artoo.
I got a dog on Thursday. This is something I've been wanting to bring back into my life for many years. Finally it's come to pass and she's here to stay! I'll try to get some pictures up over the weekend. She's a year old, we got her at Animal Services, and so far, wonderfully behaved.

This is just a question from someone who's not paying attention as much as he should to the candidate's in this Fall's elections. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to vote for and why?

While I'm more apt to pull the Democratic lever than the Republican lever, I'm happily Independant. I'd rather have individuals to vote for, rather than parties without solid platforms.

Let's keep this civil, I'm just trying to ask friends what they think of the candidates instead of...
