New Indiana Jones video game coming out for PlayStation, Wii and Nintendo DS. The clips look great, but I'm afraid the gameplay won't be so pretty given the systems it will be released on. Hopefully a 360 and PS3 version is coming as well.

I just ordered the Indiana Jones Complete Soundtrack Collection. Besides a few flaws the set seems like a really good deal. Anyone else getting this?

All 4 Indy movies screening at AMC Universal today

All of the Indiana Jones movies are playing at AMC Universal Studios today.

Raiders: 12:45pm, 10pm
Temple of Doom: 2:15pm, 12:15am
Last Crusade: 10:30am, 5pm
Crystal Skull: 7:20pm

I wish I'd gotten up and gone to see Last Crusade at 10:30. As it is, I might hit the 5pm showing. Last Crusade is the only Indy movie I've bever seen in a theater.

Anyone read any of the Indiana Jones books? The covers of recent reprints make them look pretty enticing so if there's a break in books I want to read I'll eventually get to them. I read the movie novelizations back in the 80s and just finished the KotCK novelization.

All in all, it's nothing to write home about. It covers all the bases but adds virtually nothing to the movie. One part that did please me was the justification of my theory about Spalko's death. In the...

Raiders of the Lost Ark

I just bought the new Special Edition of Raiders on DVD. I think I would still recommend the trilogy set from 2003 (or so) but I'm very happy with the 30-40 minutes of new material that appears on this release. I don't think I need two DVD copies of ToD, but I'll probably pick up Last Crusade if I see it for under $10.

Anyone interested in hitting the first screening(s) of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Advance tickets are now available at both Cinemark Festival Bay and Regal Pointe Orlando. I'm leaning toward going to Cinemark for this, but I've not made up my mind. What's everyone else doing?

Anyone going to buy any Indiana Jones food items during this year's marketing blitz? I picked up some Fruit Loops with Indy on the box and some sort of light-up spoon inside (haven't opened this yet; there were lightsaber spoons during the RotS promos).

I'm looking for the Indy cereal revealed in a picture late last year but have yet to find it. I actually have been combing the whole grocery and am not finding too much. Most of it is major Kellogg's cereals with the...

TYIJC v1 gets released today, generally for about $70. For seven 90-minute movies, that doesn't seem too bad. I've not made an order as of yet, but if I buy it it'll be online to avoid the taxes. I think I may wait for the inevitable holiday sales and maybe a deal with volume 2, which will be released in December. Anyone else wanting it?

Today I showed my wife Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I enjoyed it more than usual (it's a distant third as my favorite Indy movie) and seeing it with her made the annoying parts (Willie) more bearable. Also, I was filled with memories of seeing it in 1984. That movie had a ton of really striking moments for a twelve year-old. Pin liked it more than Raiders and likes both way more than any Star Wars movie.
